Electrical engineer, Botievskaya Wind Power Plant, DTEK

The job of an electrical engineer is in high demand and will never disappear unless people stop using electricity. My key duties include operation and maintenance of electricity-generating equipment and electric grid of the plant. We are responsible for efficient, reliable and safe operations of electrical equipment.

To be an engineer means to have an interesting, prestigious and sought-after profession. I like working in a wind energy sector, as it is a high-tech and knowledge-based industry. It is a double pleasure to work with those who are at the forefront of the industry in our country and seek to develop it.

I am proud to be working at the facility that generates electricity without harming the environment. Moreover, CO2 emissions have been reduced by about 730,000 tonnes a year thanks to Botieve Wind Farm. Understanding the global desire for improvements encourages my personal growth!
