Stand With Ukraine

More and more IDPs from the occupied territories of Ukraine and the flashpoints arrive in Kamianske every day. The city authorities as well as Metinvest, as a socially responsible business, have joined efforts to take care of IDPs who had to flee their homes because of the war.

The company has provided 1,500 mattresses, blankets and pillows for IDPs and continues to supply assistance.

“Thanks to close cooperation of the Mayor Andriy Bilousov and Metinvest Group, IDPs have received bedding items. So far, about 400 internally displaced people have received the assistance,” stated Tetiana TROIAN, Deputy Director of the Centre for Social Services of Kamianske City Council.

Metinvest’s steel front continues operating: the company is doing everything possible to take care of employees, their family members, residents of the region as well as IDPs. In particular, Kryvyi Rih has received 2,500 bedding items for IDPs: mattresses, blankets, and pillows to help them arrange comfortable sleeping accommodation. In addition, as part of the Saving Lives project, Metinvest and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation have provided 5,000 food packages for vulnerable residents of Kamianske. The company continues to provide assistance in the city.
