The annual meeting of the Board of the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine has elected Nataliia Grebeniuk as its new Сhairwoman. Ms Grebeniuk is the Executive Director of DTEK Oil&Gas.
“For the fourth year in a row, the biggest association of domestic gas producers speaks with one voice and moves confidently towards energy independence. The joint efforts of business and government helped deliver the important reforms to develop the sector and boost production of Ukrainian gas. I mean royalty decentralisation and deregulation of gas production, disclosure of geologic data and tax incentives, international EITI reporting standards and transparent electronic auctions and tenders for the new fields. The sector has become attractive to investors and open to the cutting-edge technologies and innovations. Today, we must continue the constructive reforms, so it is important to maintain the dialogue between the newly elected parliament, future government, and gas producers. We have a lot to do: address the tariff to utilise capacities, maintain the legislative stability to implement PSA investment programmes, hold auctions and tenders, update regulations for oil and gas field exploration, etc. We are on the verge of a new stage in the industry development. The new stage should be synonymous with investment attractiveness and energy independence,” said Nataliia Grebeniuk.
Nataliia joined DTEK Oil&Gas in 2011. In 2007-2011, she was the Finance Vice-President at Vanco Prykerchenska Ltd. Earlier, she had headed the Investment Department and then the Economics and Finance Directorate at Chornomornaftogaz. She has two university degrees, majoring in foreign philology and economics. She holds an EMBA degree in Strategic Finance.
