In May, daily natural gas production at DTEK Oil&Gas reached 5 million m3 for the first time in the history of the company and the private gas industry of Ukraine.
The company reached the new heights of daily gas output on the back of strategic infrastructure projects and the deep drilling programme yielding new high-rate wells at the Semyrenkivske and Machukhske gas fields in 2019, along with stimulation of the existing wells and the implementation of innovative technologies.
"Despite the unstable economic situation and the challenging environment in gas production due to the record low prices, we are taking every effort to keep up the strategy for increasing the natural gas production. The current performance is a result of systemic technological advancement of the company and the utmost professionalism of each and every employee. This is a substantial contribution towards development of gas production in Ukraine in today's difficult circumstances," said DTEK Oil&Gas CEO Ihor Schurov.
