In November, the Group’s customer-focused businesses are going to provide their services under a new brand, YASNO. It will supply electricity to 3.5 million Ukrainians and legal entities in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk oblasts. The brand will also offer their customers solutions for energy efficiency, smart home equipment and electric mobility.

We take advantage of the new opportunities and we are one of the first companies in Ukraine to introduce a retail energy brand to the market. This is about European experience and practices. We are going to introduce the western level of services and quality that Ukrainians deserve, and we hope that our example will be a starting point for rebooting the system of utility and energy services in the entire country,” said Maxim Timchenko, CEO of DTEK.
The first four modern YASNO-branded customer service centres have already begun operations in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk oblasts where DTEK Group suppliers are based. The company is going to rebrand 15 other centres by the end of the year, and to update all 65 branches by mid-2020.
“It’s not just a change of shop signs. When we launch new branches, we change business processes and approaches to working with clients. Our team has already improved the efficiency of our call centres and is developing digital service channels such as mobile applications, Viber and telephone chatbots, and online dashboards. Our ambition is to make energy services highly competitive with the services provided by mobile operators or Internet providers in terms of comfort and quality,” said Abdullah Koksal, CEO of YASNO.
