Stand With Ukraine

The war erupted into the lives of Ukrainian people and divided them into “before” and “after”. Every day thousands of people have to run for their lives, looking for a safe place far away from the areas of hostilities. Some people have found refuge abroad and some have been internally displaced within Ukraine, in particular, in Kyiv.

The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has handed over one more batch of humanitarian assistance to help IDPs to adapt to life in a new place. This is more than 2,000 food packages delivered to the Centre of Social Services of Holosiivvsky District in Kyiv.

They include pasta, condensed milk, flour, sugar, wheat grits and canned meat.

The Foundation has already provided over 67,000 food packages to Kyiv. Overall, 400,000 food packages will be handed over to Ukrainians.

Since 24 February 2022, the assistance from Rinat Akhmeton has reached 3 million residents of Ukraine. More than 1.2 million people received the assistance from his Foundation, while other people could access it through SCM businesses.

The assistance is provided as part of the Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives programme.
