The engineering business of SCM Group focuses on the manufacture of coal mining equipment and car production.

SCM Group is on top of the Ukrainian mining equipment market, uniting and coordinating the operation of the leading coal engineering plants, as well as cooperating with coal R&D institutes.

The machine building plants of the Group are rapidly revamping their production facilities and developing a strong infrastructure to test mining equipment at the factory. The companies run solid engineering facilities and are modernizing their prompt equipment service system with obvious regard to customer requirements.

Enterprises within the Group produce powered supports for heading and winning machines, drag and belt conveyors, lifting machines, bucket wheel excavators of locomotives, pump stations, main fans, transformer sub-stations, and many other components of mining equipment (overall around 400 items).
