As a part of SCM’s business restructuring programme in 2006, SCM Estate, a managing company for the real estate assets of SCM Group, was established.

In November 2007 a decision was made that in 2008 special attention should be given to this business area of SCM. In early 2008 the company’s name was changed to “Esta Holding”.

Hospitality real estate:

Esta Holding started its real estate business in the hospitality market in 2004. Today the company is a proud owner of two five-star hotels that are members of the international association “The Leading Hotels of the World”: Donbass Palace hotel in Donetsk (www.donbasspalace.com) and Opera boutique hotel in Kiev (www.opera-hotel.com). Donbass Palace was the first Ukrainian hotel to become a member of LHW and has won a number of awards including The Best Hotel in Ukraine and The Leading Business Hotel of Ukraine in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
