The fixed line communication group was formed at the end of 2005 as the result of the acquisition of Farlep and Optima Telecom and their further merging.

Farlep Optima Telecom Group is the largest private fixed line communication operator in Ukraine, with a market share exceeding 8%.

Farlep Optima Telecom Group operates in 28 cities throughout Ukraine. In 2007 the number of subscribers to high speed Internet more than doubled.

At present the Farlep Optima Telecom Group keeps expanding its presence and increasing the range of services it provides. Since 15 October 2008 the Farlep Optima group provides services under the single umbrella brand Vega.

The priorities of the Group include the application of the latest communication technologies and provision of high quality client service in combination with high efficiency. In the very near future these factors will allow the Farlep Optima Telecom Group to strengthen its positions on the fixed line communication market.

The goal set to the Farlep Optima Group is to become a leading operator of fixed line communication in Ukraine.

In order to achieve this goal the strategic management functions of the Farlep Optima Group were transferred to OJSC Farlep Invest Company.
