DTEK is the first and only private power generating company in Ukraine.

In 2007 DTEK companies generated 18,118.8 million kW/hour. DTEK’s share of the power generation market is 27%, which makes it the leading domestic company in its field.

The three thermal power plants incorporated into DTEK –Zuyevskaya, Kurakhovskaya and Luganskaya run by Vostokenergo Ltd. – generate electricity.
