This is the fifth year System Capital Management has been a partner to the Europe Day in Ukraine. By doing this SCM makes its contribution to strengthening Ukraine's integration in the European community.

Europe Day in Ukraine is celebrated annually with a support of European Commission and with participation of EU countries. The format of the Europe Day celebrations is a European Village organized in several major cities of the country. In 2010, the European Commission made a decision to present EU during three weeks, from 18 May to 7 June, in ten cities located in various Ukrainian regions to raise awareness of a greater number of Ukrainians of the EU structure and functions. This year the following cities have been hosting the Europe Day: Simferopol, Sevastopol, Kherson, Odessa, Lugansk, Sverdlovsk, Mariupol, Uzhhorod, Beregovo, and Mukachevo.

As part of the Europe day celebrations, the hosting cities organized European villages, which "opened" the schools of European languages, public debate pavilions, districts of European music and arts and quarters of European cuisine. Representatives of the EU countries also discussed social and economic problems and opportunities with Ukrainian business community, authorities, and ordinary citizens of the hosting cities.

SCM was a partner to the Europe Day in Ukraine. Making his opening address at the Europe Day celebrations in Mariupol (Donetsk Oblast), Jock Mendoza-Wilson, SCM's Director of International and Investor Relations, commented the company's support to the Europe Day:  "SCM is happy to support the Europe Day celebrations in Ukraine.
